Bottle & Case Specifications
All packaging materials and supplies should be on the Winery premises prior to ULTIMA's arrival and be in good useable condition.
The Winery is responsible for cleanliness of glass. Use of recycled glass is not permissible due to the inconsistencies encountered due to various manufacturers molds.
Glass Sizes:
Ultima is capable of bottling bottles ranging in size from 375ml to 1.5L.
Flange top glass must be approved by Ultima prior to use.
Excessively tapered glass must also be approved before use.
All bottles outside of the standard height and diameter must be approved before use. Samples should be submitted to Ultima prior to final contract.
Fill Height:
The Winery must approve a fill point during ULTIMA's set up (typically the day before bottling). The fill point must be within government standards.
Case Labels:
A Pot Devin or similar hand labeler as well as a rubber date stamp will need to be provided by the winery for case labeling and date stamping of cases.
ULTIMA is not responsible any packaging materials that are substandard, unclean or otherwise out of specifications .
